Manufacturing
The high volume manufacturing operation is located near Seoul in South
Korea. iDD – Imbera Daeduck Corporation - is the world’s first facility
dedicated to component embedding.
The iDD Factory operates with state-of-the art
equipment covering all the processes from receiving incoming wafers to
completed products. Fully automated processes include wafer thinning and
dicing, component high speed assembly (direct wafer feeder or T&R), laser
processing, embedded layer lamination, back-end processes (solder ball
drop, package marking, and singulation). A substantial test floor has been
facilitised in readiness to support high volume automatic test operations.
Processes are operated in controlled clean room environment in line with
ISO14644 standards. With a Quality Management System based on TS16949
together with the high volume manufacturing capacity, the supply of
components to consumer and other mass market applications is assured. PCB
processes are managed and run by Daeduck Electronics in their established
world-class factories.
